Guide to OMB Clearance (CD / ALbums Import) : Claiming your Packages from CMEC Pasay

If you receive a notice from CMEC like this one, you are sure to have to go to OMB to get a clearance for your purchase. Note: This album is a Signed BLUE B.A.P. purchased from Mwave and its just 1 piece. I had to go through all the troubles for this one album!!! 

*Isn't it obvious that it is for personal use? I mean... why the hell do they have to let me go through all these for 1 copy of album. Even the releasing officer at CMEC was kinda surprised to open a box with 1 album in it. 

Sending the letter of request: 

1. Prepare necessary documents

What you need for OMB to process the clearance:

a. Order Form / Invoice from where you purchased the item (ebay / amazon / synnara / ktown4u / etc) 

b. Letter of Request (sample letter)

c. Scanned Valid ID

2. Send an email to OMB via Email Address: omb_registry@yahoo.com.ph

3. Wait for their response. Usually 3 working days. They will ask you to pick it up from their office. 

4. Pick up 8am - 4PM weekdays only. Bring Php150 for the Clearance. 

How to go to OMB 

from MRT:

1. Get down MRT Quezon Avenue Station

2. Get to the Mcdonald's side in Quezon Ave. (use overpass if you came from Taft / get down if you came from North ave) 

3. Ride a tricycle:  Tell the driver to drop you off in OMB Office. Php20 fare

from Espana (Q. Ave):

1. Get down in Timog Avenue / Delta corner (if you are riding a Jeep that goes straight to MRT Q. Ave / Fairview 

2. Ride a Jeep that says Kamuning (So: Don't get down if your riding a Jeep or FX that goes to Kamuning.)

3. Get down in Timog Mcdonald's / there is a Jollibee in front of it so you won't miss this corner. 

4. Walk towards scout tobias. OMB is in your right side. Scout Limbaga.

from Fairview:

1. Get down in Delta / Corner West Avenue (if you are riding a Jeep/FX that goes straight to Quiapo) 

2. Cross the over pass towards the Timog Avenue

3. Get to the other side and Ride the Kamuning Jeep

4. Get down in Timog Mcdonald's / there is a Jollibee in front of it so you won't miss this corner. 

5. Walk towards scout tobias. OMB is in your right side. 

Claiming of Package in Pasay Customs.

1. Bring your letter / clearance from OMB

2. Bring Valid ID

3. Bring the invoice of your purchase

4. If you received a notice from Customs, bring this with you too. 

5. Go to 2nd Floor of Pasay Customs and present your clearance, Invoice, and Valid ID. 

6. You will be asked to wait to be called (in first) floor. 

7. Items released (if not too many / if package is not taxable) after payment of Php 112 postal fee. 

Melon Tutorial - How to use Melon (app) as Mp3 Player

So you already have an expired Melon Passes? But I am sure you also have an MP3 of your favorite Korean Songs! (Even non Korean songs will work too!)

So follow this and enjoy playing your MP3 with Melon App! =) =)

Step 1: Click on the Button with Musical Note.
Step 2: Click on the 3rd option (numbered as 2)

Step 3: on the next page, click on the link with musical note to see your MP3 saved in the Device.

Step 4: If you want to just play everything, Select all and click the play button. 

If you click on the play button, this is what you will see in your temporary playlist. You can go to this every time, and just choose shuffle play. 

Step 5: Adding songs to playlist 

If you want to maintain a playlist to organize your MP3s, Add songs to the playlist by clicking on the right lower button. then follow the screenshots. 

How to check your MP3 Playlist? 

Step 1: go to main page, click on the mobile icon (third option), on the next page, click the first link. 

You can also create new playlist in this portion of the App, or just open existing playlists. 

Playing MP3 from the Playlist: Click one song and play this song, it won't move to the next song unless you select all (highlighted) before you click the play button.

To Clear History of playlist, Follow steps below. 

Note: make sure you are in this screen, deleting from this list will not remove your MP3s or DCFs. 

Important: When doing this, and using Melon App as MP3 player,  YOU DO NOT NEED an Internet Connection. 

Melon Tutorial - Download DCF and Make a Playlist

For those who availed of 1 month streaming only, You can Download copies (unlimited) of the song but the file is DCF and is only playable via Melon (i think there are other players but it will be on a different blog post). Follow the steps below. ;) 

Steps 1-4,  Click on the highlighted green bottom of screenshot, Search for the Artist (can be English, but others are in Korean names)

Choose the 3rd one so that you will see the Artist list. (First Tab is their latest albums/singles) 

Choose the Artist by clicking on it. 

Step 5, Click on the 3rd text (boxed) so you will see the artists' discography.

Choose from the latest to their oldest album by scrolling up or down. 

 Step 6, once you have chosen, you can click on the Star on the artist, and also give the album a "heart". 

 Choose the song, or highlight / click all songs in the album if you want to download them all. 

Click the download tab, and it will go to another page, where the summary of your download is shown. Click on the Green Button to download, otherwise just hit the back button to go to previous page.

Do Steps 1 to 6 everytime you want to add a new artist's album to your downloaded files. Once done, you want to check your DCF files, right? So follow the next step to do so. 

Choose the encircled option to see your DCF List. Then when you go to the next page, click on the first option. 

To view DCF files, click on the DCF Tab.  You can select all and play all, or Select one by one and then create a playlist of your choice. 

Creating Playlist: Choose the bottom option. the first option will only put your songs in the history of "played" items in Melon.

New: Just choose a Name and save. 

Rearrange/ Delete Songs: Follow the 2 last screenshots 

This will only work if you have wifi or data. The songs will not play if you do not have access to the internet. =)

and then No. 2 to open profile

Step 2 - Click Left most button

 Step 3 - Click upper most option

Step 4 - Choose from your Phone

Step 5 - Crop according to required size

Step 6 - Click the Middle Part to Save

Step 7 - Change your Banner Background

Step 8 - Choose the Background and Save

I have been K-popped!

I have no intention really to turn my personal blog into a KPOP only posts but I just want to share what I have been up to the last few months I haven't been around to update my blog.

I love Korean Dramas and yes I watched a drama that turned me into a KPOP / KROCK fan. I have no intentions but it just went through and I was sucked into it almost forcibly (by some unknown Force).

I just want to introduce them to you all of you here! And move on and try to update the blog with travels and of course some food trips. So please allow me to just allot this page and a few others (in the future) to be dedicated to them.

I am now a PRIMADONNA! oh yah. If you are sucked in to one KPOP Group and all you think about is their music, their performance, and you follow all their accounts in social networking sites, you already belong to a FANDOM. Basically my fandom name is PRIMADONNA. We bear the color yellow, a pentastick and a lightstick that is only that of the group I FOLLOW.

So what group is that?! Its FTISLAND. Five Treasure Island. Okay, not very catcy name. Perhaps i can refer you all to some of their songs, and performances (you can message me for all of those) and you'll know why i got hooked in the first place.

Anyways, Here are the members of the BAND. Oh yeah, by Band I mean they play instruments and they are not your typical IDOL groups that dances on stage. Hence, they are not as well known as their BIGBANG and SUPER JUNIOR Counterparts.

Lee Hong-Gi (Or Lee Hong Ki / Lee Hong gi) is the Main Vocalist. He is basically the frontman, the one everyone sees all the time. He is the owner of the very unique voice - that is only him.
* he joined a singing contest in a KOREAN show where his face was covered in mask, and yet almost all judges knew it was him (its got to be him because his unique voice has surrfaced)

Choi Jong Hoon is the Lead Guitarist. He is the leader of the Band. He is the one that basically tells everybody when they should practice, how they should interact, and all. He loves BearBricks and is very addicted to it. He even brought them and well guested one in his very recent drama. (yeah a toy got a guest appearance)

Lee Jae Jin is the Bassist. He is basically the band's middle child. trapped between the oldest and the youngest member of the group. He is also known as the "Saico". Meaning he is actually a bit psychotic at times haha . nah by that i meant he is funny, and just being him.

Song Seung Hyun is also a guitarist, joining the band when another member left, he is matured for his age, but is always happy. He shows a happy disposition despite a lot of challenges; and he is also called a soft smile hero - his smile can light up even the darkest room. It is such a stress reliever.

Choi Min Hwan is the group's youngest member. He is so cute, really. ha ha well he is the Band's genius drummer. He always does cute faces, and is very good at doing selfies. He did a 30 minute show teaching their fans how to maximize and make yourself a good selfie photo! :D

Collectively, the Band - FTISLAND is not a dance idol, they are a rock band. Very famous in JAPAN and has held several concerts a year. they are a bit underrated, as they have little fan based (not the strongest in numbers but i guess the strongest at heart).

What I love about this band is that they are very true to everyone who follows them. Sometimes a bit too much honest. They do not try to put up a fake image and tries to cover up mistakes. they just show the real nature of their personality. This is probably why even the small fans they have have mustered up all their strength and gives them the support, as much as they could.
